These usage terms are an agreement between you, a user of the site https://electricmind.me (“the site” or “ElectricMind”), and the site’s administrator(s). These terms govern your use of the site, including all related webpages and downloadable materials, information, photos, or any other documentation or data that appears on the site. Usage of the site is dependent upon your acceptance of these terms and those of the associated privacy policy, which is incorporated into this agreement. Please read these terms and the privacy policy carefully. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE WITH THESE TERMS AND OUR PRIVACY POLICY, YOU SHOULD NOT ACCESS OR USE THE SITE OR SUBSCRIBE TO OUR MAILING LIST.

We reserve the right to change these terms at any time. We may, but not necessarily, give notice to you through our mailing list or by any other reasonable means. The updated terms will come into effect from the moment they are posted, time-stamped at the top of this document. Our site allows you to subscribe to our mailing list, through which you will receive regular updates and communications regarding new content on our site. All electronic communication you receive from us will contain an unsubscribe link, allowing you to opt-out of receiving future communications from ElectricMind. We will never share or disclose your personal information to third-parties, except by order of a court.

ElectricMind’s proprietary content may include, but is not limited to: text, photographs, graphics, logos, icons, audio, video, software, datasets, diagrams and schematics. ElectricMind owns the copyright for all materials and content that appear on the site, with the exception of third-party citations to scientific research materials or scholarly texts – the latter are appropriately credited with a citation and reference to the original source. The rights associated with proprietary content are protected by applicable copyright laws and other applicable intellectual property laws.

5. Permitted Usage and Distribution of Content

The materials on our site may be copied or distributed (electronically or in print format) for non-commercial purposes: research, teaching and learning, and other similar purposes related to advancement of knowledge. You may not use the materials on this site, or any of the site’s proprietary content linked-to and stored on third-party servers for any commercial purposes whatsoever. These copyright materials may not be used in any manner to disparage or discredit any person, organisation, or academic institution. You may link to our site, as long as its not done in a false or misleading manner, to promote a product or service, or to bolster the credibility or an individual or business. You may not frame the content of the site. You may not use metatags or any other “hidden text” that incorporates our site’s contents without our express written consent.

We may on occasion link to other websites when they are relevant to the content at hand. You may freely access the site when it is available. We do not guarantee availability and continuity of the site nor its content. 9. Parental or Legal Guardian Consent of Minors

This site is presented to a wide audience, however, we keep a mature audience in mind when developing our articles. As such, the site is not specifically geared towards children. If a person under the age of 13 year access and uses the site, we understand that this is done under the consent of the parent of legal guardian.

If any section in this document is determined by a court with an appropriate mandate to be illegal, invalid, unfair, or unenforceable, the remaining sections will remain in full force and effect. If at any time we fail to respond to a breach of these terms by you or others, such failure will not waive our right to act with respect to the subsequent or similar breaches, neither do we waive any legal right to recourse and/or relief related to the initial breach. These terms and our privacy policy act as a binding agreement between you and the site’s administrator(s). By agreeing to these terms you are bound by them, neither you nor ElectricMind will have any right or remedy based upon any other contract, agreement, statement, representation, warranty, or assurance, other than those expressly stated in these terms.
